A native of Shreve, Ohio and a graduate of Triway Local Schools, Kim received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University (B.A., 1992) and her juris doctor degree from Capital University Law School, cum laude, in 1998. She practices primarily in the areas of real estate, guardianships, adoptions, business law, and bankruptcy.

After practicing in Holmes County for eleven years, Kim joined Taggart Law Firm in Wooster in 2009.  She previously served as President of the Holmes County Bar Association and formerly acted as the Solicitor for the Village of Killbuck.  Kim has also been a member of the ethics committee for Castle Nursing Home in Holmes County.  She is currently a board member and treasurer for the Wayne County Volunteer Guardianship Association and is a member of the planning committee for the Associations’s annual Iron Chef fund raiser.  She also serves as on the board of the Wooster Kiwanis Club.

Kim is married to Kevin, who is also a Triway graduate, and they have four children.  Kim is active in Valley College Grange 4-H and serves as the club’s poultry advisor.  Kim is a parent volunteer at Wooster Township Elementary School and the Triway Junior High School and a frequent sponsor of various athletic teams in the Triway Local School District.  She also enjoys volunteering for the Triway Athletic Booster Club.
